Winter in zell am See
Die The holiday region of Zell am See-Kaprun lies in the centre of Pinzgau, in the province of Salzburgerland.
The Schmittenhöhe mountain and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier offer winter sports fans numerous pistes of all levels of difficulty.
Away from the pistes though, the region also offers plenty of other sports: for example iceskating on the frozen Zell lake, or cross-country skiing or simply walking through the snow-covered winter scenery.
